For me personally that is not such a big deal as I mostly am online.
Outlook on the web Offline#
Offline capabilities used to be there for Outlook on the Web, but since the new version it is not there anymore. To fix this I usually open up the calendar in a separate tab in the browser (right click on the calendar icon en choose "Open link in new tab"). Especially when switching between calendar and inbox. Things can feel a bit slower or less snappy than with the Outlook Desktop client. You can see all the shortcut keys in Outlook on the Web by pressing the question mark. So, to quickly move messages out of the way, press C, type the category, press enter, press E, done. Note that if you still want to move your emails, this can also be done more easily in Outlook on the Web just by pressing the letter V and then typing the folder name. If you categorize an email, you are actually categorizing the mail thread as well, meaning that if you reply and someone replies back, it will have the category automatically assigned, so you only need to press E to move it into your archive.
Outlook on the web archive#
Moving email into one archive folder (just by pressing E) is much quicker than moving it into a specific folder.
